At Oomkik, we value your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.
When you use Oomkik, we collect your name and email address via Google Login. We also collect your device model to ensure compatibility and provide support.
Oomkik uses the Google Photo Picker to allow you to select photos for display. We only access the specific photos you choose. We do not access your entire library without your explicit selection through the picker.
Selected photos are stored on our secure Google Cloud Storage for approximately 7 days to facilitate synchronization to your frame. We retain a thumbnail image on our servers until the photo is deleted from your frame to allow for management within the Oomkik app.
Once you delete a photo from the frame, it is permanently removed from our servers and the device. Retrieval is not possible after deletion. Once synchronized, photos are stored locally on your Android device and are not transferred to any other third-party services from that device.
We use Google Firebase and Google Cloud Storage to power our authentication and data synchronization services. We do not share, transfer, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties other than these core infrastructure providers, and only for the purpose of providing and improving the Oomkik service.
This website uses Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to help us understand how visitors interact with our site. Google Analytics uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to collect anonymised usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and general location (country/region level). This data is processed by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
