At Oomkik, we value your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.
When you use Oomkik, we collect your name and email address via Google Login. We also collect your device model to ensure compatibility and provide support.
Oomkik uses the Google Photo Picker to allow you to select photos for display. We only access the specific photos you choose. We do not access your entire library without your explicit selection through the picker.
Selected photos are stored on our secure Google Cloud Storage for approximately 7 days to facilitate synchronization to your frame. We retain a thumbnail image on our servers until the photo is deleted from your frame to allow for management within the Oomkik app.
Once you delete a photo from the frame, it is permanently removed from our servers and the device. Retrieval is not possible after deletion. Once synchronized, photos are stored locally on your Android device and are not transferred to any other third-party services from that device.
We use Google Firebase and Google Cloud Storage to power our authentication and data synchronization services. We do not share, transfer, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties other than these core infrastructure providers, and only for the purpose of providing and improving the Oomkik service.
